The Energy Bus was refurbished and leads energy efficiency to a trip around Portugal. See the itinerary for 2011-2012.

The Energy Bus is different and uses several languages to respond to different audiences: children, youth and adults. Through media support, interests and experiences, everyone can make contact with the themes: production and energy transformation, energy efficiency and renewable energy, contributing to the adoption of new behaviours more efficient and environmentally friendly.

The Energy Bus is a project developed by EDP, in partnership with TerraSystemics and funded by ERSE - Energy Services Regulatory Authority under the PPEC - Plan for the Promotion of Efficient Energy Consumption.
 

Between 2007 and 2009, visited not only a large number of cities but also the more remote locations, where populations have less access to information. Visited 73 locations in 64 different municipalities, between them, 46 cities, 23 towns and four villages. Received 45 500 visitors of all ages, from north to south, were already on board 19,000 students from 210 schools.

The Energy Bus is e) mission neutral, nullifying the carbon footprint of their travel, this is, emissions of greenhouse gases are neutralized by investing in sustainable energy projects.
